A short post created for an UPS employee sustainability engagement group intended to spark conversation and dialogue, specifically as to highlight UPS's recent sustainability-focused podcast series:
Did you know that UPS has a podcast?
We recently launched Longitudes Radio, and the stories are quite good, and often focused on sustainability issues. Check out the three-part series on the future of urban logistics, in which we explore how forward-looking businesses, academic institutions and sustainability leaders are re-imagining the movement of goods in urban spaces.
In part I, John Davies of GreenBiz stops by to discuss findings from our recent research collaboration, and the future of city planning, public-private partnerships, and data-driven solutions disrupting international commerce.
In part II, we chat with MIT Megacity Logistics Lab director Matthias Winkenbach regarding recent innovations surrounding city delivery.
In part III, Peter Harris and Thomas Madrecki of UPS discuss the balance between efficiency and self-disruption at UPS.
You can check out the series on iTunes, Google Play, and on the UPS Longitudes blog. Be sure to subscribe so as not to miss new episodes!
